Traditionally known for sweet and fortified wines, the Klein Karoo region is beginning to make a name for itself for fresh, bright white wines made from Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay and textured red from Pinot Noir and Shiraz with some winemaker successfully experimenting using the many port wine grapes growth in the region
